Pharmaceutical Regulatory Compliance

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES:

Will coordinate all activities relating to fulfillment of drug products including: sourcing, procurement, inventory, quality assurance, and compliance.

Responsible for maintaining an effective program to ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and accreditation standards pertaining to state licensure, third party administrators, utilization review and management requirements.

Works with management for general guidance.

Researches and keeps company current with applicable state and federal laws and agency regulations.

Monitors and keeps up to date on assigned state’s changing healthcare/pharmacy regulations, legal requirements or pending legislation.

Audit and investigation preparedness and assistance.

Coordinates all international/domestic shipping and receiving of products.

Participates in the development of product specifications.

Performs quality checks on raw goods from time to time to see that vendors are not delivering substandard goods.

Performs Vendor Facility Inspection and submit reports to the quality department.

Responsible for ensuring all necessary recertifications and licenses are completed within the allowable time frame on an annual basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree and at least two years of pharmaceutical sourcing, procuring, or relative experience in a health care setting.

Experience with FDA, CDER, and EPA processes, procedures, regulations, and submissions.

Knowledge of California Department of Consumer Affairs requirements.

Must be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.

Ability to work independently. Excellent computer skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
