Job Summary
(Remote for local applicants only in Central Arkansas position) The IT Support Specialist is responsible for a wide array of technical functions in healthcare environments. This position works directly with doctors, nurses, and other medical staff members, and offer support to existing technologies. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. The successful candidate will have previous experience and, although not required for the position, advanced education is preferred. Additionally, this highly visible position requires a positive, highly motivated, and enthusiastic individual.
Job Duties
- Provide network, hardware, software, and user support
- Testing and updating of new software versions
- Basic wiring
- Respond to telephone calls, emails, and tickets for technical support
- Document, track, and monitor tickets
- Troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices
Qualifications
- Troubleshooting experience with Microsoft Windows, and Mac
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge in applicable areas of technology
- Analytical with strong problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
- Demonstrated ability to excel both independently and as a team member in a diverse and challenging environment
- Knowledge of commonly-used help desk concepts, practices, and procedures
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT, IS, CS or related experience (Preferred)
- Ability to apply analytics results to process improvement and strategic thinking
- Able to travel 10% - 20% of the time if needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
