Description
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the head of the Marketing Department with the implementation and execution of marketing plans, campaigns, projects and all initiatives.
The coordinator helps to create and update marketing materials (digital and print) and assists in the collection of data for analysis. The Marketing Coordinator also assists with Event Marketing to include tradeshows.
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business, along with 3 years of experience, is necessary for the marketing coordinator position.
A successful marketing coordinator possesses excellent creative, administrative and problem-solving skills and is customer friendly.
Job responsibilities:
* Support the marketing team with implementing, monitoring, and tracking of marketing campaigns.
* Assist with the creation of marketing and sales collateral materials, including written content and art.
* Maintain and update marketing materials as directed.
* Develop content for social media platforms/posts and monitor interaction.
* Update marketing lists for email, SMS, digital and other marketing campaigns, maintaining centralized marketing databases.
* Perform CRM activities, along with pulling various marketing queries and lists.
* Help organize, coordinate and assist at marketing events, such as tradeshows, customer meetings, conferences and webinars.
* Gather report data and create reports on key metrics for evaluation of campaign performance.
* Write initial content for platforms, such as the website, email campaigns, blogs, press releases, presentations.
* Update website content on WordPress and support SEO and analytical efforts.
* Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing endeavors, projects, and programs
Qualifications
* Working knowledge of Photoshop is a must. Knowledge of other Adobe products, including Illustrator and Adobe PDF Writer, are a plus.
A simple Photoshop test will be administered if selected for an interview
* Knowledge of WordPress is a plus
* 3 years of experience in marketing or in a position with similar duties and responsibilities
* Strong written and verbal communications skills
* Attention to detail
* Superior organizational skills, with ability to excel in high-paced environment and handling a myriad of projects and deadlines
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Team player who is eager to learn and to grow
