Position Summary:
As the Partnership Account Manager at MELON, you will help create new ways of bringing brands and IP partnerships to life in the Metaverse. Your role is critical in being responsible for managing the daily work with our partners and serve as a liaison between the client/partner and MELON's creative, business dev and game dev teams. You will ensure that the partner's creative vision is heard and supported, as well as keep budgets, deliverable items and approvals on track and will help establish timelines that work for both the client and MELON.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily work of assigned accounts, including communication between the client/partner and the internal teams
- Coordinate workflow between creative and production teams, including timelines and budget parameters
- Have clear communication with immediate supervisor on status of client deliverables, impact on budgets and timelines and addressing any issues or concerns that may be impacting outcomes
- Create key documents that guide projects through the creative process
- Create briefing reports
- Create budget and estimate statements
- Create meeting/conference reports
- Staying aware of timelines, deliverables and approvals
- Handling SOWs and invoicing
- Serve as the critical eye before any work goes out the door—reviewing everything from alignment with initial strategy to proofreading.
- Support new business projects, aiding senior team members with robust research on the potential current clients and new leads, pulling information, and doing a deep dive into the ethos and identity of the brand
- Understand and represent MELON's vision and values
- Understand and be able to speak as an informed leader about Roblox and the Metaverse
Qualifications:
- 4-year degree in marketing, communications, business or related field
- 2-5 years of account management experience at a marketing/creative agency or entertainment company
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE BRAND/CLIENT ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- Nimble and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent project management skills and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Well-organized and adaptable
- Team player with the ability to work well under pressure
- Culturally savvy and interested in all aspects of pop culture and passion points
- Strong understanding, awareness and appreciation of sports and music is a plus
- Understanding of Roblox and mobile gaming is a plus
- Experience and understanding content creation needs for social media, channels, and platforms
