Description:
The Bilingual Counter Sales Associate will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, assisting clients with their purchases, and offering expert advice on our hydraulic and industrial hose products. This position requires fluency in both English and [Second Language], and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and courteously, both in-person and over the phone.
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate hydraulic and industrial hose products based on their needs.
- Provide accurate product information and recommendations to customers.
- Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a well-organized and stocked sales counter, ensuring products are displayed neatly.
- Handle customer inquiries, orders, and complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure product availability.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts.
- Support sales and marketing initiatives by promoting new products and special offers.
Qualifications:
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Proven experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the hydraulic or industrial hose industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus.
