POSITION SUMMARY :
The E-commerce Fraud Prevention Representatives are immediately responsible for reviewing orders for potentially fraudulent activity on or through our online or integrated systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Performs fraud review for any orders that are designated for review within our systems.
- Review of flagged accounts using resources to mitigate risks.
- Ability to determine if transactions are legitimate and should be processed or if they are fraudulent and should be cancelled and refunded, stopped from shipment or transit.
- Approve any orders that are legitimate in a timely manner so these orders are not delayed in shipping.
- Mark any fraudulent orders in our systems for further review / reject upon identifying the fraudulent orders along with associated order metrics to prevent associates.
- Work with Menards Security Team, Merchandising, and Operations teams and stores to coordinate our efforts to prevent fraud online and in Menard stores.
- Report on fraud trends on a weekly basis to the E-Commerce Fraud Prevention Team Lead
- Maintain a zero false-positive on mitigation and low chargeback balance stemming from reviewed orders
- Utilize Menards provided programs, third party software and external websites.
- Need to be able to work independently to resolve minor issues and know when to escalate to involve E-Fraud Prevention Team Lead and / or E-Commerce General Manager.
- Respond to fraud related issues including emails and telephone calls.
- Ability to train Guest Service Representatives to be aware of potential fraudulent inquiries and or transactions.
- Other duties as assigned by the E-Commerce General Manager and E-Commerce Fraud Prevention Team Lead

- Must be detail oriented
- Must be willing to work occasional overtime & occasional weekends
- Must be able to work both independently and on a team
- Must be able to set priorities and hit strict deadlines
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Must be willing to relocate to Eau Claire, WI
