About The Opportunity
This position is responsible for performing audits on materials and products to ensure customer conformance to specifications and that expectations are met.Essential Functions: Changed from Key Duties and Responsibilities
Thoroughly understand and be able to perform hourly Quality Audits in production lines Complete required documentation correctly and accurately Be able to train Quality Auditors in their functions Log in employees into our systems to capture their working hours Proper distribution of workload to Auditors Follow, train, and enforce company processes and procedures Represent the Quality department in a positive and consistent manner Participate and/or facilitate internal/external audits Responsible for verification of all production records (PTS) cross shift Create UPC labels based on item numbers to generate bar codes Print / Coordinate print code dates and distribute for shift as necessary Perform investigations to determine possible reason for variances Document NCRs and Perform root cause analysis for completion Notify Management of Non-Conforming product through Q3 notifications and similar processes (QT/Mixed pallets, etc) as well as coordinate its return Approve Work Packets (Verification of customer Specifications) Submit Samples to customers as necessary, assist with Pre- Production Meetings and QA documentation Coordinate Environmental Swabbing, ATP, Allergen Swabbing, Line Validations, maintain swab inventory. Coordinate Rework process and set up in the system Properly complete departmental documentation and data such as logs. Perform all computer functions as they pertain to this job

Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed Ability to effectively work in teams Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with individuals associated with subject matter, as well as communicate findings to other quality representatives Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail orientated tasks Must be detail orientated and pay close attention to accuracy Ability to apply commonsense understanding and communicate accurately to carry out detailed instructions both oral and written Ability to analyze information gathered in order to maintain accurate and detailed records using both computerized and manual means Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations Ability to communicate accurately, clearly and concisely in written, verbal and electronic formats Ability to independently or with minimum supervision write routine reports, correspondence and prepare various levels of documents and reports Ability to establish and maintain very effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work Ability to read and write using the English language
