MENCK currently have a requirement for Head of Sales (m/w/d) to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. Based at their facility in Hamburg or Kaltenkirchen, this position seeks a well-networked, highly self-motivated sales professional with continuous ambition to pursue, coordinate and secure new business opportunities across all relevant market segments including after sales services.
Duties
- Role will be expected to develop a global sale, bid and marketing group on behalf of MENCK
- Expected to have a strong global sales profile with excellent customer interface capabilities
- Responsible for external Sales team, supporting the internal bid team, contracts team and marketing efforts towards segment sales leadership
- Responsible for commercial management within the MENCK Group business
- Development of new sales strategies aimed at new customer acquisition
- Expected to lead global pipeline management including implementation of a global CRM system for the company
- Supporting Sales Manager while contract negotiations of Selling Projects
- Supporting the development of Marketing strategy towards all MENCK customers and potential customers
- Supporting the coordination of all PR Activities
- Contribute and coordinating presenting MENCK at Conferences and Exhibitions
Requirements
- Educated to degree level in economic studies and/or engineering or similar
- At least 5 years work experience in Sales within subsea service sector, preferably strong position within the offshore renewables industry i.e.,. offshore wind and/or oil & gas developments
- Expertise in strategical planning and achieving targets
- Very good skills in presentation, negotiation, and tenders
- Commercial knowledge of key drivers of operational risk allocation towards profit and turnover
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong analytical capabilities associated with methodology know how
- Willingness to travel global as required by the business
- Proficiency or Native Speaker in English and German
