Job Summary:
Meneses Law is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead our technology department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT infrastructure, implementing strategic technology initiatives, and providing leadership to a team of IT professionals. This role will be responsible for ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency of our technology systems to support the firm's operations and strategic objectives.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
- Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives aligned with the firm's business objectives.
- Manage and maintain the firm's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, systems, and software application.
- Ensure the security and integrity of the firm's data and information systems, including compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Oversee procurement, installations and maintenance of hardware and software solutions, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders to identify technological needs and opportunities for innovation.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, recommending investments and adoption strategies to enhance the firm's competitiveness.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance with best practices.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and service providers, ensuring quality of service and values for the firm.
- Provide regular reports and updates to executive team on IT performance, projects, and initiatives.
- Perform any other tasks or functions deemed necessary to the daily operations of the employer.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing IT operations and infrastructure.
- Strong technical knowledge and expertise in IT system, network, security, and software applications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
- Demonstrates ability to develop and execute IT strategies that align with business goals and drive innovation.
- Solid understanding of legal industry standards, regulations, and compliance regulations.
- Proficient in programing languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, DB, Python, RESTful APIs, Suite Flow, Suite Builder, and Suite Bundler.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
- Effective communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advance degree or certifications preferred.

Compensation:
Meneses Law believes in Work Life Balance. Operation hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. plus 2 Saturdays a month for certain positions.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Education/ Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree, knowledge of MS Office and MacOS.
Communication Skills:
- Ability of reading comprehension, writing, speaking to others to convey information effectively, active listening and interpreting instructional documents. English/ Spanish bilingual oral communication is a must.
Reasoning Skills:
- Must be able to analyze information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures to define the problem or objective. Identify relevant concerns or factors, patterns, tendencies, and relationships. Formulate logical and objective conclusions and recognize alternative and their implications.
Physical Demands:
- This position involves regular walking, standing, sitting for extended periods of time, hearing, and talking.
- May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching. May involve close vision, color vision, depth perception, focus adjustment, and viewing computer monitor for extended periods of time.
