What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Med Aide/LPN position at Mental Health Alliance?
Outpatient mental health clinic is looking for a very part-time position one day or less a week.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with administrative tasks in a medical office setting
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records using RxNT systems
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members
- Assist with filing, organizing, and maintaining medical records
- Prepare examination rooms for patient telehealth visits
- Take and record vital signs
- Perform IM injections as needed
- Provide support to healthcare professionals in an office based setting
- Accommodate special needs of patients
Skills:
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of IM injection procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
