Job Description: Director
Full Time position reporting to the Board of Trustees

Responsibilities:
- General
- Oversee the operations of the organization, employees and children
- Report to the board of directors on the following matters:
- Financial position
- Data and statistics
- Projections for growth and proven pattern for sustainability
- Partnership progress
- Program outcomes
- Financial approvals
- Responsible for the successful implementation of new programs and monitoring the growth of the programs to ensure organizational integrity
- Scaling the existing model to be utilized by expanded audiences in other countries and potentially across the United States
- Administrative:
- Responsible for overseeing the staff and any new hiring projects
- Monitor for safety and security protocols across the organization
- Coordinate relationships with Mentors and Mentees
- Oversee Administrative Coordinator and ensure their tasks are correctly followed including but not limited to:
- Documentation management
- Website management
- Written communications as needed for events, marketing,
- Filing - physically and electronically
- Records management
- App communications support
- Create documentation for data reports and program analysis
- General research
- Coordinate office support resources
- Financial record-keeping
- Day to day communication with constituents
- Procurement and supply orders
- Provide administrative and clerical support as needed*

- Community and Relationship Coordination:
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for Mentor support and reference
- Generate innovative strategies for researching and cultivating identified partners aligned with the mission and goals
- Presence at events and promotional activities
- Create delegation model with volunteer constituents to achieve more progress and utilize support from within the Mentor Me sphere
- Drive the strategic development, implementation, and management of new and existing partnerships including community-based organizations, elected officials, schools and to ensure alignment of the recruitment process with program needs
- Correspond with partners to ensure timely communication and open dialogue
- Compliance Matters
- Oversee the process for compliance including but not limited to:
- Track all deadlines and compliance requirements for organization
- Track Mentor documentation and volunteer records
- Support communication systems for Mentor check-ins
- Events and Fundraising
- Fundraising is key for the current state of the organization.
- Create time and energy worthy fundraising efforts and events activities
- Identify grant opportunities and gather materials to submit
- Track funding requirements
- Create relationships with local fundraising partners and maintain existing relationships

- Participate in philanthropic networks. Stay abreast and monitor trends in the nonprofit and foundation world.
- Knowledge of local social service systems and community-based organizations
- Identify and undertake professional development and training

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, innovative, and creative thinker with administrative experience. S/he will possess the ability to take initiative, work independently, prioritize responsibilities and deadlines, and think flexibly. The following qualifications and experience are required:
- Bachelor's Degree in various fields accepted
- At least 5 years of related work experience, preferably in the non-profit or education sector
- Flexibility, a desire to collaborate, and strong oral and written communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License with access to a licensed vehicle
- Strong computer skills including Google Workspace, mobile applications, database entry, and ease of use with Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom and other virtual meeting and remote work platforms
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and an ability to interact well with and understand the interests of diverse audiences including women, partner organizations, multi-language speaking
