Position Description
Human Resources Generalist & Recruiter
Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist & Recruiter coordinates a variety of Human Resources functions for our Administration team, including recruiting, employee relations, benefits administration, organizational development, compensation, conflict resolution, immigration and work authorizations, and other HR-related functions.
Essential Functions
- Manage all talent acquisition including sourcing, recruiting, interviewing and hiring new associates
- Manage all on-boarding and off-boarding processes
- Involved in management and resolution of all employee relations issues including development plans, employee complaints, resignations and terminations, etc.
- Involved in management and resolution of performance management processes and annual performance reviews
- Work with the CFO and HR team in compensation policies and programs
- Involved in management and resolution of leaves of absence and requirements for FMLA
- Maintain the HRIS, reporting and provide analysis and reporting as needed
- Enhance programs for leadership development and training
- Assist leadership team with employee engagement programs
- Involved in development and management of policies, programs and reporting for things such as EEO/AA/ADAA
Position Requirements
Experience
- 3 years experience in Human Resources
- Experience in Human Resources in an eCommerce business environment (Preferred)
Skills
- Understanding of legal aspects of Human Resources including employment, immigration and work authorizations, unemployment claims, etc.
- Demonstrated experience in all processes related to hiring new employees
- Demonstrated experience in processing of resignations or terminations
- Experience in performance management programs and coordinating annual performance reviews
- Experience in compensation programs, salary levels, etc., (Preferred)
- Strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Strong organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience in Human Resources in an eCommerce business environment (Preferred)
- Familiarity with working with third party administrators for benefits administration (Preferred)
- Familiarity with payroll processes and functions (Preferred)
- PHR/SPHR (Desirable)
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related field preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
