Meow Wolf is seeking an extremely qualified and capable Contracts Administrator to join our Company and help ensure that our large-scale projects are managed effectively. The Contracts Administrator works closely with the General Counsel in addition to other Meow Wolf, Inc. divisions to help develop, draft, negotiate and ensure the effective administration of all contracts for the various projects Meow Wolf is undertaking. The Contracts Administrator will also maintain all finalized contracts in addition to all addendums, change orders, relevant correspondence, and payment schedules. The ideal candidate will be able to detect errors and inconsistencies in contracts and have experience working in the amusement park or entertainment industry. 

Requirements

  • Under the leadership of the General Counsel, develop a company-wide contracts administration process.
  • Draft, negotiate and approve contract terms with professional service providers
  • Design standardized templates and guidelines for new contracts
  • Review contracts for compliance with guidelines
  • Collaborate with exhibition and creative direction teams and HR to ensure compliance with executed agreements
  • Work closely with project teams to review scope of work and payment schedules in drafted contracts to determine whether they seem reasonable and accurate
  • Liaise between parties regarding contract development and negotiations regarding terms and conditions and drafting and revising changes as required
  • Ensure that all records are accurate and up to date
  • Write contract letters and other communications and notices
  • Assess progress on projects and create regular status reports regarding progress on projects
  • Analyze and report on specific risks associated with contracts
  • Analyze contracts to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies to ensure alignment with company rules and guidelines
  • Draft and review company policy guidelines as requested

Essential Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 3 years experience in contract administration management
  • Ability to perform all job responsibilities satisfactorily
  • Proficient understanding of owner’s representative services, professional services, property leases, change orders, close outs, and NDA’s
  • Experience working with a variety of intellectual property issues related to artwork, music, and narrative

Desired Qualifications

  • 3 years experience in themed entertainment or amusement park contract management
  • Proficient understanding of design, fabrication, and installation

Work Environment

This role will require work in a variety of work environments. Work will be conducted in a standard office setting, our company fabrication workshops, and also on construction sites. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and scanners. The employee will comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocols. Ability to travel throughout various facilities, office buildings and exhibitions as required for meetings.



Physical Demands

  • The employee is required to work in an office setting that will require a stationary position for extended periods of time
  • Prolonged periods of working at a desk and also at a computer
  • May be required to ascend stairs

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


Supervisory Responsibility

This position may require supervisory responsibility.

Travel is required for this position
