Job Description
In April 2020, our Company announced plans to consolidate our New Jersey campuses into a single New Jersey headquarters location in Rahway, NJ by 2023. Therefore, this role will be temporarily based in a and exact timing of the departmental move to Rahway, NJ will be communicated at a future date.
Promoting health equity is one of our Company’s core priorities. The Health Equity Team is leading efforts to ensure as a Company we realize this priority and goal for the foreseeable future and to also ensure we improve the wellbeing and health of our patients.
The Health Equity team is seeking a full time Director to lead and spearhead how health equity is embedded across the Company’s core business functions, inclusive of our Research Labs, our Manufacturing Division and Human Health. This individual will focus on prioritized markets and therapeutic areas to ensure health equity is a core competency that is integrated into commercialization plans related to marketing, market research, market access, communications, and policy. Specific responsibilities will include:
Interface with global, regional, and market stakeholders to support integration of health equity into strategic planning, priorities, and profit planning.
Serve as consultant and subject matter expert to global, regional, and market stakeholders to help them identify health equity related opportunities and ultimately guide execution of their health equity strategy and programs/partnerships.
Collaborate with business units to ensure appropriate capabilities (i.e., SDoH data and analytics, multi-cultural marketing, health literacy, etc.) to support the execution of their health equity strategy are developed and operationalized.
Build and execute on an accountability plan by establishing and implementing key performance metrics that teams report against to enable greater awareness and understanding of how the Company is progressing in accomplishing the Global Health Equity Framework/Strategy.
Lead development, dissemination, implementation of an enterprise health equity report card to assess the social and business impact of our health equity strategic interventions/programs.
Lead inaugural Health Equity Catalyst Fund program.
For 2022, lead the Anti-microbial Stewardship Grants and learning collaborative.

Effort: Full-time
Required:
10 years experience in the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry/public health. Strong project management and strategy background.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Preferred:
Advanced certification or degree in a relevant field (business, public health, health policy, public policy, marketing, allied health etc)
Advanced certification or degree in a relevant field (e.g., Six Sigma, MBA, HCD).
Experience will both domestic (U.S.) and international programs and partnerships.
