Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Executive Assistant to support "our company's" Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This is an ideal position for a career Executive Assistant who works well under pressure, is a self-starter, is passionate about delivering strategic value, and wants to work in a dynamic, fast-moving, collaborative environment.
This position requires initiative, high attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly with a demonstrated willingness to continuously acquire new competencies. It also requires good judgment, confidentiality, a strong work ethic, a high degree of accountability and excellent organizational and computer skills, and teamwork.
Key Functions of the role:
Monitor / Manage CEO’s executive calendar and conserve CEO’s time by using discretion in setting up and accepting appointments.
Sensitivity to security risks.
Organize and coordinate leadership meetings, off-site meetings, teleconferences, and special events, as required.
Schedule and coordinate complex travel arrangements, approximately 20% domestic, and 80% international.
Manage expense reporting and purchasing.
Assist with other responsibilities as needed.
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
A minimum of 10 years administrative experience
Extensive experience performing administrative work that requires analysis, initiative, flexibility, tact and independent judgment, and impeccable recordkeeping and record retention skills
Documented experience as a strong performer in current and former positions
Ability to work under pressure with little or no supervision to handle multiple tasks, as well as demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and confidentiality
Organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple work activities with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
Proficiency in using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)
Preferred Experience:
Three years supporting a CEO, preferably at a public company.
