In this role, you have the opportunity to
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, as part of a growing finance and accounting organization, the Payroll Analyst will be responsible for full-scope payroll processing and accounting.
You are responsible for
- Bi-Weekly payroll processing and administration in ADP
- Prepare payroll-related journal entries and account reconciliations
- Partner with HR to ensure the processing of new hires, promotions, terminations in a timely and accurate manner
- Perform year-end payroll functions (End of Year updates, W-2's)
- Support external audits including financial statement, 401(k), and Workers Comp audits
- Assist internal audit in developing, documenting, and executing controls over payroll processes
- Respond to payroll related inquiries from employees
- Assist with IT system changes, and integrations of acquired companies
You are a part of
The payroll team working closely with Accounting, Finance, HR and Legal departments.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
- 3 years relevant experience including multi-state payroll processing and related accounting
- Experience using a large scale Payroll/HRIS system, preferably ADP Vantage
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Microsoft Excel
- Oracle ERP experience a plus
