Summary
The Social Worker – MSW Provides social work services to home care patients and their families. Assesses and treats emotional and behavioral problems related to patient illness. Participates as a member of multi-disciplinary team and may assist patients in treatment planning. May contribute to the formulation of discharge plans. Requires a master's degree of social work. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduate of a school of social work. MSW Required.
Licensure: Current Oklahoma State Licensure in Social Work.
Experience: At least one (1) year of recent experience as a social worker in a medical facility (hospital, clinic, Home Health or Hospice etc.)
Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Other: Demonstrated excellent clinical competence, interpersonal team-building, collaboration, negotiation, problem-solving, as well as spoken and written communication skills. Must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.

Preferred Licensure:
Preferred Experience: Five (5) years of recent experience as Social Worker (Recent is defined as being within the last five (5) years) is preferred for this position.
Preferred Certifications: ACLS, PALS and NRP certification must be obtained prior to working in areas that require applicable certification. All certifications must be maintained in a current status.
Preferred Other: Previous experience in a home health role preferred.
