What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant and Scheduler position at Mercy Medical Staffing?

We are looking for a skilled office assistant and scheduler to undertake a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks. You will be an integral part of the quality service delivery team. Your part is to ensure that office operations run smoothly and are successful in supporting other business activities. An excellent office coordinator is, above all, an organized and competent professional with phenomenal communication skills. You will be comfortable dealing with people and able to carry out administrative duties with accuracy and speed. The goal is to ensure that office operations are efficient and add maximum value to the organization where all clients receive the best possible services from our dedicated staff.

Scheduling and coordinating with the HHA are the most important tasks of this position.

Responsibilities

The agency is looking for a Scheduler that is also familiar or willing to learn Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system with experience to coordinate with field staff and on-call supervisor.

Good customer service skills and quick response to client/staff demands are important in this position. If interested and qualified, please submit your resume and our HR department will contact you right away.

Skills

  • Familiar with Home Health Care processes and rules
  • Must be able to use a computer to monitor data
  • Must be able to manage multilayer schedules and direct/supervise staff
  • Must have a current HHA certification and/or STNA certified.
  • Must be familiar with home care waiver program rules
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must have a marketing/recruitment experience
  • Must be available to be on-call after hours as needed

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
