Overview: Automation Engineer
Position can be remote (work from home).

An Automation Engineer is an Automation Center of Excellence co-worker who has responsibilities to improve the project deployment, sustainability, and velocity.
A coworker in this role is responsible for carrying out technical solutions through systems engineering within a single domain. A co-worker in this role can expect to be an expert in one of the following scenarios: Automation Developer, Solution Architect, or Software Administrator.
Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Experience:2 Years of IT related experience1 Year of experience leveraging Automation technology
- Required Education: Bachelor's Degree OR (5) years of related experience in lieu of the degree in addition to the required.
- Other: Data handling and manipulation experienceBasic system administration tasks
- Understanding of information and data managementSkilled in Process Flow technologies such as: Visio, etc
- Skilled in the Microsoft Product Suite
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common hardware/software issues
- Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of coworkersMust have excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and demonstrate compassionate human relations skills with the ability to communicate in a manner that puts coworkers at ease.
- An excellent team player treating everyone as a valued individual who seeks out and addresses customers needs while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment with an acute eye for detail.Preferred
- Previous Programming experience ( VB, C#, .NET, C , Java, etc.) Skilled in version control systems such as: TFS, SVN, Gitlab, etcSkilled in Business Intelligent schools such as: QLIK, PowerBI, etc
