Overview: Director - Transformation Architecture
The Director of Transformation Architecture sets the strategy and leads the creation of transformative capabilities and solutions. This role entails developing and executing strategy, establishing transformation services, leading a team of transformation architects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, scalable, secure, and innovative data and technology solution delivery. The Director of Transformation Architecture will influence investments which shape data and technology roadmaps, foster innovation, identify and mitigate risks, as well as optimize operations and communicate complex concepts to all stakeholders. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10 years' proven experience in Digital Transformation, Enterprise Architecture, and technology leadership roles.
- Required Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Additional Years of experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Other: Must include a strong track record of designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure systems.
- 5 years' experience in leading and managing architecture teams, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Strong understanding of business processes, information systems, and technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in developing and executing technology strategies that drive business outcomes.
- In-depth knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, microservices architecture, cybersecurity, and data management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate, PMP, DevOps, ITIL) are a plus.
