Overview:
Provides assistance in all dietary functions, such as basic food preparation, set-up, delivery of room service meals to patients and clean-up of meals. Responsible for logging temperatures, cleaning and restocking floor stock refrigerators with nutritional supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Preferred Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience: Experience in food services preferred.
Other:
Individual must be able to use a computer for annual mandatory tests.
The physical demands described here are the representative of the minimums that must be met by an employee to perform all essential functions of the job.
Most physical demands are below, plus:
Minimal: kneeling or crouching, lift floor to desk height and carrying of < 37 lbs, push/pull of < 28 lbs force, pinch grip
Occasional: balancing, gripping < 40 lbs
Frequent: Push/pull < 12 lbs force Continuous: hand coordination
