We are seeking a full-time optometrist to join our nationally recognized and award-winning Mercy Eye Specialists in Springfield, MO providing medical and perioperative management for cataract, premium lens candidates, refractive and cornea patients. An ideal candidate will have superb refracting skills, scleral lens experience, interest in outcome analysis and research, dry eye therapy and keratoconus management. A Mercy Eye Specialists provider will consistently interface with patients, surgeons and need to possess strong communication skills. A passion for education is highly desired. Our eye care team in Springfield consists of nine ophthalmologists and five optometrists. Retina, glaucoma, cornea, refractive, neuro, and pediatric subspecialties are all well-represented. Strong growth is projected over next three to five years.
Mercy Clinic Eye Specialists - Ophthalmology - E. Seminole
- Specialized equipment such as, IOL Master700, Galilei Tomography, Confocal, Endothelial cell Count, Visx iDesign, Eximer Laser, Avedro Crosslinking technology. Optos Camera, Autorefractor, ERG, OCT, Humphrey Visual Field, Fundus Camera, Cassini, B scan, Zeiss Forum
- Dedicated eye surgery center, performing 6000 surgeries annually.
- OR suites are equipped with state-of-the-art technology such as femtosecond laser, superior microscope technology with live OCT, heads up display and more.
- Our team offers comprehensive eye services for patients of all ages.
- Our entire group is highly respected, exceptionally trained, and provide compassionate high-quality eye care.
- Experienced group of ophthalmologists; several have been with Mercy over 20 years
- Working in surgical practice with MD/OD team seeing on average 18-20 post-operative established patients daily including a high volume of Femtosecond laser cataract surgery with premium toric and multifocal IOLS, general ophthalmology and surface management.
- Proven business available with high surgical block utilization and the most comprehensive Ophthalmology department in 200 mile radius of Springfield, MO.
