What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resource RN ICU Nights position at Mercy?
$15,000 Sign On Bonus, ($5,000 for new grad RN) - No contract!
Responds to all codes and rapid responses throughout the hospital. Assist with difficult IV starts, complete daily audits for the unit, are additional resources to the charge nurse for complex patients, and assists with admits, discharges and other ICU needs.
Qualifications:
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Licensure: Current Oklahoma RN License
Experience: 1 year RN ICU experience
Certifications: BLS & ACLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently. NIHSS; if new to the unit nurse will obtain within the first three months of employment in Critical Care
Other: Completes Hospital and Unit Specific nursing competency within 3 months of employment and annually, submits to Nurse Manager/ Education Coordinator.
Preferred Education: BSN, preferred

- $10,000 sign on bonus for full-time RNs with more than 1 year of RN experience, paid out over 2 years
