Overview:
The Registered Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
Licensure: Current Oklahoma License or compact license
Certifications: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required for independent practice.
Other: Completes Hospital and nursing competency within 3 months of employment and annually, submits to Nurse Manager/ Education Coordinator.
Preferred Education: BSN
Preferred Certificatins: American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is preferred.
