Overview:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for using the Nursing Process to meet the needs of patients according to the professional standards of nursing care. The RN assures that the philosophy, mission, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the Nursing Department and Mercy Health Systems are followed. The Registered Nurse is responsible for the quality of care of a caseload of patients; delegates appropriately and directs staff in the delivery of care.

- Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing required
- Licensure: Current licensure by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support Certification through an American Heart Association approved program.
- Preferred Experience: At leat one year previous experience in clinical nursing preferred.
