Evaluates a variety of functions in the maintenance, repair and upkeep of the physical plant, grounds, and equipment.QUALIFICATIONS
1. Three years of experience in a specialized trade such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC or millwright is required to complete the minimum job requirements . Requires training time of approximately two years. Non-Certified General Facility Maintenance experience preferred.
2. Must be able to maintain, repair and replace existing utility systems and write up material specifications for projects .
3. Mechanical aptitude and proven ability to use hand and power tools, to work on ladders at various heights, and demonstrate a safety-conscious attitude.
4. Ability to operate large vehicles, tractors, plows, and various lawn equipment .
5. Must have valid Driver's License.
6. Must be able to work with limited supervision to complete tasks assigned in a timely manner and have the ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
7. Ability and willing to work in a variety of environments, including office settings, classrooms, laboratories, mechanical rooms, service tunnels, and outside areas.
8. Must be comfortable operating in a shared leadership environment and collaborative team environment, including mentoring and sharing knowledge with co-workers and contracted services.
9. Ability to respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations.
10. Excellent customer service including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
11. Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented and have the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
12. Comfortable using Microsoft office suite including word, email, mobile communication devices, and various internet applications
13. Willingness and ability to complete assigned training programs
14. Must be able to test and pass safety competencies and uphold safety procedures consistently.
15. Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
