What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Veterinarian position at MercyVet?
MercyVet has been around for over 2 decades and has a long-standing, loyal, multi-generational client base. We are seeking FT/PT small animal Associate Veterinarian at our private practice in Mercer Island, Washington. Are you looking for a veterinarian position at a non-corporate practice in an increasingly corporate world? Are you looking for an integrative clinic where you can grow and learn as a veterinarian while providing outstanding care with a collaborative team? Are you looking for a practice where life balance, mental health, and family are valued and prioritized for its employees? If you answered yes to any of these questions, MercyVet Clinic may be the place for you. We are looking for a motivated and kind-hearted associate DVM to join our MercyVet Team. Our doctors and stellar support team provide a high level of compassionate and personalized medical and surgical care for the cats and dogs of our community. We are there for our patients and clients from the first puppy/kitten visit until their late senior years. MercyVet provides high quality holistic medicine, preventative care, advanced medical workups (digital radiography, digital dental radiography, laser etc.), urgent care appointments (some are prescheduled blocks that we fill in the day of some are drop-off appointments), and day hospitalization (no overnight care). If you love ER, but not the hours, we see a significant number of urgent care cases that we balance with our general practice. Additionally, we offer specialty services for diagnostic purposes such as ultrasound and cardiologists that come to us. Surgery not your thing? No problem! We will support your interests, whichever direction you decide to go. Looking for a veterinarian to work 4-day work weeks, but we are also open to a 3-day work schedule - we are flexible! We are closed on weekends/holidays and have no on-call duties. Our veterinarians are highly compensated and receive generous benefits which includes a 401K with 3% match, flexible vacation time, medical insurance, continuing education allowance, and more. Our clinic philosophy has always been to serve our clients and patients to the best of our ability and to treat everybody with kindness and compassion - we attribute our success to simply treating our patients as if they are our own. Whether you are fresh out of vet school or are an experienced veterinarian looking for a change, we would love to talk to you! Please submit a cover letter and resume for consideration for this unique opportunity.
