What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at MercyVet?

MercyVet is seeking a motivated, cheerful receptionist for our busy integrative veterinary practice Monday through Friday. Please love people as much as you love animals! We are looking for someone who is punctual, adaptable, reliable and able to cover staffing shortages as needed. Veterinary experience required.

Other required skills include:

  • Scheduling appointments
  • Answering a multi-phone system, communicating via email and fax as well
  • Microsoft Office knowledge, AviMark knowledge is a plus
  • Checking in patients and checking out clients, taking monetary payments, visa, mastercard, etc.
  • Multi-tasking and Prioritizing
  • Greeting clients and patients in a compassionate and professional manner
  • Light housekeeping duties
  • Assisting the doctors with tasks as requested

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
