Meridian Cooperative is looking for a Linux Administrator II to support our DevOps team in our Atlanta office.

Summary:
Designs, develops, supports, and maintains the organization's systems infrastructure, and DevOps tools including the design and implementation of hardware and software. Build, test and maintain the Technology and DevOps tools to allow for the speedy development, build and release of software. Performs end-user support for DevOps.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
- Deploying appropriate CI/CD tools, continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and own the human intervention time on any tasks , building automated processes wherever possible
- Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support to System Administrators and management support
- Coordinate with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or a related subject
- 6 to 10 years of experience in DevOps tools and technologies.
- Must have Atlassian Tools: Jira, bit bucket and Confluence
- Must have Opensource Tools: Git and Jenkins
- Advanced experience with automation software (i.e. Ansible, Kubernetes)
- Advanced scripting skills (i.e. Perl, Shell, Python, Playbooks)
- Solid OS and networking knowledge (Linux, Windows, OSI network layers, TCP/IP)

Pay: $85,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
