Job Description
This role will see you ensuring successful delivery of quality service on our wind turbines at our White Hill site situated near Mossburn, Southland.
Each day, you’ll carry out scheduled services and reactive maintenance on a number of our turbines (we have 29 of them at White Hill!). You will also be required to respond and attend to reactive maintenance and monitoring outside of normal working hours on a rostered basis (approx. 1 week in 5).
Your peers are a team of multi-disciplined Wind Maintenance Technicians who work hard to keep our turbines in great shape. Working with the support of the Site Manager and the Scheduler, you will work safely on a daily basis to deliver on our maintenance plan.
Car pool options are also available as the team travel from various locations each day.
Qualifications
- You'll be a Registered Electrician or have an Electrical trade qualification.
- Physically fit, able to climb up to 80 metres and lift up to 25kg!
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, and it goes without saying able to work at height as you'll be maintaining wind turbine generators.
- Experience in the wind industry and an appetite and ability to work in all types of weather will be an advantage.
