We are a medium sized restaurant, focused on producing a fine dining experience with all the warmth and genuineness that Oregon is famous for. Expand your skills as you work directly with our Executive Chef, Eric Hill, who has over 15 years of fine dining experience. With an ever-changing view of the Oregon Coast, and guests from around the world, no two days are ever the same.
We change menus frequently to highlight seasonal availability and offer a tasting menu. We strive to deliver exceptional culinary coastal experiences and are looking for someone who shares that same passion. Responsibilities:
Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.
Undertake basic cooking duties with focus and attention to detail
Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen , sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
Requirements
Proven experience as line cook
Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen
Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils
A team player with good communication skills
Patient with an ability to stay positive under pressure
Able to carry up to 50 lbs
High school diploma or equivalent is desirable
Must be 21
Must have Food Handlers Card
