We are looking for a Service Desk Analyst 2 that shares our passion for client service. This position is based out of our Houston office and is part of our Service Desk Support Team. The Service Desk Analyst 2’s main areas of responsibility are to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide technical support for both our customers and providers.
The qualified candidate will have experience working in a help desk support role. Preference will be given to applicants with CompTIA A , CompTIA Network , CCNA, and/or MCSA certifications. In addition to having a solid technical foundation, a sense of humor combined with a positive attitude and top-notch customer service skills is a must!
Primary Areas of Responsibility:
- Perform troubleshooting of customers’ application, hardware, network, and procedural issues through phone, email, and voicemail
- Maintaining accurate history and status of issues in ConnectWise ticketing system
- Interact with Network Providers, vendors, and clients daily; opening tickets and performing follow up with internal/external organizations regarding client related issues.
- Performing routine startup and shutdown procedures, and maintaining control records
- Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues
- Assisting with various IT projects
Qualified applicants should have 2 years of experience with these technical applications:
- Windows 7 (and up) – must be able to install, configure and maintain
- Microsoft Server OS - all versions
- Microsoft Azure
- Office 365 - multiple applications
- Microsoft Exchange Server - all versions
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Microsoft Endpoint Manager
- Hyper-V / VMware experience
- Backup administration
Qualified applicants should have 2 years of experience with these networking concepts:
- Setting up firewalls, configuring rules, site-to-site VPNs
- IP addressing, subnet masks, and VLANs
- DHCP, DNS, NAT
