What the role is:
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering against an advertising revenue goal across an assigned account list through new business & customer retention for a leading Retailer. This role is responsible for the category sales strategy, delivering on the revenue goal & ensuring customer satisfaction. The role sits within a matrixed organization and will collaborate closely with the Buying team, Account Management, Operations & Analytics to drive short term and long-term revenue growth for the company. You will have a strong understanding of structuring strategic media plans and can work effectively with an Account Management team who will lead post sale campaign delivery, creative strategy, and execution.
In this role you will:
Secure sponsorship packages across designated verticals and be viewed by your clients as a Trusted Advisor through your efforts of Solution Selling principals. You will effectively identify and partner with C-Level influencers across both the brand and agency ecosystem. You will be proficient at pipeline maintenance, optimization, innovating, and securing long term partnerships. Work with Account Management to create and secure media plans that align with delivering against the brands goals. Drive strategic approach and thinking and have skin in the game.
Who you are:
You are a skilled storyteller with experience communicating the benefit of marketing opportunities to brands and working with clients to understand their business goals and develop appropriate solutions to meet their brand objectives. Ideally, you have experience working at a brand or retailer in a brand management, ecommerce, or marketing capacity. You are a solutions-oriented driver of the business with a strong sense of ownership, customer obsession & bias for action. You have strong consultative sales skills, a collaborative and innovative spirit and are extremely comfortable interacting with C-suite leaders. You have a keen understanding of the ecommerce & retail media space, with working knowledge of supply chain, merchandising, wholesale, marketplace, and DTC ecommerce models. You have a strong understanding of strategic media planning, experience crafting data driven narratives and can distill & communicate complex topics to a broad audience. You have experience with building sponsorship packages, understanding media performance and measurement trends, as well as sales tracking tools and forecast management. You have built a network of influencers across the brand and agency landscape to facilitate sales opportunities. You are extremely skilled at building strong internal & external customer relationships.

- Bachelor’s or advanced degree
- Strong knowledge of the Luxury Retailer vertical and Advertising industry
- Activate in the short-term but builds toward a long-term vision
- Cross-functional collaboration on management of high-profile deals & integrated marketing programs
- Ability to communicate effectively with a track record of working directly with c-suite executives
- Proven ability to build and deliver results based on a strategic approach
- Proven track record developing and managing Marketing Media sales collateral, presentations, reports, and partnership plans with an attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close business
- Successful experience working with Salesforce and CRM integrations
- Has successfully instilled trust with internal and external stakeholders and isn’t afraid of having skin in the game
- 8 plus years of successful media & marketing sales experience

The anticipated salary range for this position is $68,000-$106,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
