We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. Administrative Assistant responsibilities include completing inspections of cleaning services, estimates to potential new customers, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems and occasional cleaning.

The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.

This position is part-time position with flexible hours and the potential to become full time.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls during business hours
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms
  • Assist in calling leads and pursuing new customers
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Assisting with cleaning duties as needed both in office and homes

Skills

  • Knowledge of cleaning practices
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers, computers and phones.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) and Google Drive and Gmail
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Job Requirements

  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable vehicle and insurance
  • Must have background in cleaning services and ability and willingness to learn and fill in staffing gaps as needed
  • Must have basic computer proficiency and ability to multi-task

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
