Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accountancy or an associate degree.
- Three years of relevant work experience in organizations exceeding 1,000 employees.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Payroll Preparation and processing within the payroll accounting transaction cycle.
- Responsible for garnishments, ACA tracking, and check writing.
- Ensures that all agency policies and procedures are followed.
- Document maintenance and monthly account reconciliation.
- Review bi-weekly payroll report verifying payroll accuracy, including payroll deductions.
- Assist with the completion of month-end closing.
- Assist with review of federal and state tax returns and W2s for accuracy and completeness.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
