Mission:
To provide technical support to Sales and Marketing by providing product information and Application Engineering assistance to customer and field sales offices. This position entails communicating directly with customers and sales offices having various levels of technical expertise, identifying and fulfilling their requests for technical information and application recommendations. The major challenge is to handle complex and varied applications and turn them into a sales opportunity.
Main Responsibilities:
- To receive analyse and respond to Application requests directly with customers and sales offices.
- To provide technical information regarding products and standards to customers and Mersen Personnel.
- Initiates and completes testing programs for both Mersen and competitive product
- Expands and improves product Application information for use internally and externally
- Prepares and delivers technical seminars and product presentations
- Prepares and administers cross reference data base
- Assists the sales force at specifier and end user calls
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3-5 Years experience in Electric Power or Control Systems
- Superior interpersonal communication skills
- Availability to travel
- Ability to work as part of a team and an interest in technical selling
- Excellent writing skills
- Complete knowledge of Office suite products
Additional Information:
Work From Home up to 2 days per week, 3 days in office required.
