Responsibilities:
As a Quality Inspector, your primary responsibility is to ensure the quality and integrity of products through thorough inspections and adherence to quality standards. You will be responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products to identify defects, non-conformities, and deviations from quality specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality specifications and standards.
- Utilize quality inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, gauges, CMM) to measure and assess product dimensions and characteristics.
- Perform visual inspections to identify defects, damages, or inconsistencies in product appearance or finish.
- Document and record inspection results, non-conformities, and quality issues in inspection reports or quality control systems.
- Communicate quality issues, deviations, and corrective actions to relevant departments and personnel.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality concerns, implement corrective measures, and prevent quality-related issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve product quality.
- Ensure compliance with quality control procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO standards).
- Assist in the development and maintenance of quality control plans, procedures, and protocols.
- Provide guidance and training to production personnel on quality control processes, standards, and best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to quality inspections and quality assurance activities.
- Conducting special resistivity testing for wafers(plates) & specific finished products according to customer requirement.
- Final Inspection of all products including dimensional measurements & 100%visual inspection for aircraft products.
- Organize, Package, and label of products related to aircraft department by coordinating with shipping department.
- Use JDE - ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software for managing on-time quality delivery of products.
- Enter all orders inspected into finished goods into JDE system and coordination with shipping team.
- Prepare special certificate of conformance (CofC) as per customer requirements.
- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders through effective communication.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive quality culture within the organization.
- Perform other duties as directed by the QA manager.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certifications in quality assurance or related fields is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or in a quality control role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques, equipment, and software.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision in quality inspections.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, & product specifications.
- Certification in quality inspection or quality assurance (e.g., Certified Quality Inspector) is beneficial.
Hours:
- 20 Hours per week: 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm - Monday thru Friday
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.75 - $19.00 per hour
