Production – Slitter Operator – Minneapolis, MN
Metal-Matic, LLC.. is a progressive and major manufacturer in highly engineered steel tubing. We provide products to manufacturers in multiple industries including automotive, construction, agriculture, appliance, energy, recreation and many others.
This full-time, hourly position is located at 629 Second Street SE in Minneapolis and works 2nd shift Monday through Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm.

Starting pay is $24.97 per hour plus $0.45 per hour.

We also offer a retention bonus of $1500 after one year of employment paid in three installments - $250 at 90 days, $250 at six months and $1000 at the one year anniversary.

Position Overview
As a Slitter Operator with Metal-Matic, you will demonstrate your commitment to quality by operating the slitter and making all necessary adjustments to produce quality slit coils. You will instruct the Slitter Assistant on set up of overarm separators to assure proper clearance for the slit strands and inspect steel by gage and finish to assure proper steel for slitting orders. You will be responsible for ensuring the product meets customer requirements.

• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check

• Experience working operating a slitter and/ or manufacturing experience (preferred).
