Methodist Rehabilitation Center has an immediate opening for a Rehabilitation Tech to support our Brain Injury/General Rehab Department.
Shift: Day, Evening and Night Shifts Available
Knowledge/Experience:
High school education or equivalent required, CNA preferred. Nursing Assistant or Therapy Tech training and/or satisfactory previous experience required. Satisfactory completion of MRC rehabilitation orientation and advanced training programs for rehab tech required once the employee has been hired.
***Although this position does not require certification, it does require at least 1 year of direct, hands-on patient care.***
Responsibilities include ensuring that patients arrive to Therapies on time, assist with ADL's which include toileting, bathing, eating, etc. Assess and record vitals, assist with transporting patients to and from Therapies, and other duties as assigned.
