As a Building Enclosure Consultant, you'll apply scientific principles and practical know-how to develop effective building enclosure solutions, ensuring reliable building functionality and addressing issues like water intrusion, condensation, energy loss, air leakage, and physical deterioration.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage budgets and proposals for a variety of building enclosure projects, review and analyze construction documents, and evaluate existing structures to identify and rectify enclosure issues.
- Provide technical guidance through participation in meetings, performing site visits, and conducting compliance checks during construction to ensure adherence to contract specifications and industry standards.
- Enhance team capabilities by mentoring staff, conducting quality assessments and tests, and potentially traveling for project assignments
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or similar fields
- 3-6 years of design / construction experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ambition to gain professional certifications
- Willingness to travel periodically
