Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage water and wastewater projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline expectations.
- Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and team members to establish project goals, requirements, and technical details.
- Perform detailed engineering analyses, feasibility studies, and complex designs for water and wastewater systems.
- Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, specifications, and other project documents to ensure top-notch quality.
- Oversee the permitting process and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to collect crucial data and offer technical support during construction.
- Oversee construction activities, maintain thorough project documentation, and address any design changes or issues that arise.
- Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continuously improve project results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in TN, or eligibility to obtain it within 6 months.
- A minimum of 5 years of successful experience managing water and wastewater engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of water treatment, distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively explain complex technical concepts.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and excel in multitasking.
