Job Description
Metric5 is currently seeking a Content Developer to join our growing team. As the Content Developer, you will be supporting a large-scale Agile Transformation effort, supporting content creation and management for recurring training course delivery and coaching.
Program Details
This program delivers a mix of Lean-Agile, DevSecOps, and Human-Centered Design (HCD) support including product management, user research, UI/UX design, and Agile facilitation support. You’ll join a team that embraces Lean-Agile / DevSecOps culture to promote innovation, measurement and continuous improvement, and high-quality support services deliver business value and outcomes to our customers and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of products and services
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable 508 compliance and other standards
- Pair with senior team members to curate and create training and marketing content as well as organize knowledge repositories
- Write easy-to-understand copy for email marketing, slack marketing, and websites
- Document internal processes and create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
- Distribute, collect, and develop summaries of course attendance and surveys
- Manage version control for training and marketing materials
Requirements:
- 5 years professional experience
- 1 years working in an Agile environment and/or one or more Agile certifications
- Superior written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences in written and verbal formats
- Ability to translate technical concepts to plain language to support instructional development
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Adaptability to changing scopes and contexts
- Highly organized – experience providing logistics and planning support across multiple simultaneous efforts, creating detail-oriented content
- Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (including built-in 508 Compliance procedures/functionality in Word and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with video conference and virtual collaboration tools
Years of Experience: 5 years professional experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) or equivalent experience; 508 Compliance Certification (preferred)
Location: Washington, DC / Remote
Clearance: Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust/Suitability clearance.
Salary : $80,000 - $105,000
