What You Will Do:
The Strategy Analyst will play a key role in supporting strategic planning, strategic projects, and strategic execution at Metrie. This individual will be involved in the annual planning process as well as the long-term strategy by providing key analyses and reports to the Strategic Leadership Team and Board of Directors. Additionally, the individual will support strategic projects both directly (by participating in cross-functional project work) and indirectly (by supporting the goal setting and tracking programs related to strategic execution).
Reporting Relationships and Key Interactions:
The Strategy Analyst will report to and work closely with the VP, Strategy & Business Development. Additionally, the Analyst will collaborate closely with the Director of Sustainability and other Strategy team members. There will also be cross-functional team work as determined by project needs.
Responsibilities:
- Providing critical analysis to advance corporate growth projects and ESG initiatives,
- Organizing elements of the Annual Operating Plan process with SLT members,
- Supporting long-term planning efforts across the organization,
- Managing data processing and tracking of OKRs in Workboard for strategic execution, and
- Developing cohesive, ease to understand presentations for senior leaders.
Qualifications:
The education and background experiences enabling success for this position include:
- At least two years of related experience, specifically with analytics. Experience with OKRs and Workboard seen as an asset.
- Post-secondary degree from a reputable institution in business, commerce, or equivalent.
- Designation or qualification such as CPA or CFA seen as an asset.
- Experience supporting senior leadership decision making with proven results.
- Advanced MS Excel and Powerpoint skills.

In adherence to the principle of pay transparency, we are pleased to disclose the base pay for this full-time position at Metrie. The base pay range for this role is set at 64,000-80,000. It is important to note that this position may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location.
