Job Description
Position: Ultrasound Technologist
This department has full-time and on-call positions available, providing flexibility to accommodate your scheduling needs.
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will conduct ultrasound examinations based on physicians' orders, using a range of advanced ultrasound equipment while considering the unique needs of individual patients, including special or age-related requirements. Your role involves performing diagnostic imaging, ensuring precise and accurate results, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Education to fulfill certification, licensing, or registration requirements.
- Eligible for certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Oregon Sonographer license upon hire or Oregon Sonographer Temporary license upon hire.
- National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Obtain National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
- New graduates must be board eligible and secure certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire.
- New graduates must possess OBMI temporary license and obtain a permanent license within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
- 2 years of experience in OBGYN sonography.
- Multi-registered as RVT and/or RDCS.
Candidate Details
The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree and no prior management experience is required. Occasional travel may be necessary. This position is suitable for individuals at an Associate level with relevant clinical experience.
