Job Title: Esports & Tech Camp Counselor
Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will have the opportunity to help educate and engage campers during their stay at the camp. You will be responsible for working within the parameters of the program schedule, activities, and curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Engage campers on an individual and group level to ensure program enjoyment
- Help campers setup, troubleshoot, and play games
- Instruct campers during the instructional period
- Manage behavior and ensure camper safety
- Help facilitate curriculum, activities, and mini-events for campers
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Good to have experience working with children
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be available to work one or more weeks
- Must be able to pass a background check

The Metro Esports Gaming & Esports Camp is perfect for gamers of all skill levels, from beginners to aspiring pros! Campers compete in structured competitions and tournaments for the game of the week, and participate in fun team activities and guided free play across a variety of different games. Daily lessons offer an in-depth exploration of the esports landscape, covering a variety of topics, including career opportunities, team development, leadership and communication, game mechanics, esports psychology, and best practices for healthy gaming. Our dedicated staff, top-tier gaming equipment, and an immersive curriculum ensure an unparalleled learning and gaming experience. Parents love the Gaming & Esports Camp for its seamless integration of skill development, personal growth, and the campers’ love for gaming. The Tech-U camp’s mission is to ignite enthusiasm for technology through gaming and introduce the younger generation to critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and tech learning. Schedule:
Camp counselors are scheduled on a per-week basis, with the total number of counselors predetermined weeks before based on camp sign-ups.
Camps run from 9am- 12pm (AM session) and 1pm-4pm (PM Session) Monday through Friday. Camp counselors earn weekly pay at a flat rate. Half day options available.
