Job Summary:
A Metronet Service Delivery Project Manager is responsible for managing and implementing complex services for Metronet high-profile business customers. The PM needs to understand the customer’s project scope, verify technical requirements, coordinate internal and external resources, manage equipment procurement, ensure valid network and equipment configuration, successful deployment and installation of equipment, including all features. Additional coordination of technical field dispatches to pre-install and activate customer complex services within critical client and internal milestones. The Project Manager organizes the implementation of more complex services and higher order volume for project deliveries. The Service Delivery Project Manager will be the main point of contact for the customer and all internal departments throughout the implementation process. The individual must be self-sufficient and able to work on his or her own for extended periods with minimal management direction.
What you will be doing:

Builds and maintains good client relationships and works to improve customer satisfaction

Initiates communication with high touch customers via phone calls, conference calls and email communications

Conducts project kick-off calls with internal resources and customer to set scope, plan, expectations, and milestones to deliver MetroNet services.

Lead regular project meetings regarding the delivery of commercial services both internally and with the customer and/or customer’s vendor
-
Identify potential risks and create mitigation plans
-
Project tracking and analysis in internal systems including but not limited to ZenDesk, Metasolv, Q-Manager, Salesforce
-
Ensures the procurement and tracking of MetroNet equipment shipment and installation to meet customer implementation timelines
-
Perform administrative duties commensurate with the requirements of the organization including data gathering, metrics, and reports.

Manages client expectations by providing meaningful updates to external and internal customers

Facilitate customer communication, provide product training, and post-installation follow-up
-
Determines the estimated completion of services per project that will be used for revenue forecasting

Minor travel for customer appointments
What You Need for This Position:
-
BA/BS Degree in a business-related field or
-
3 years of project management experience and/or 5 years of telecommunications or cable TV experience
-
Must have a valid driver’s license
-
Customer-facing project management experience
-
Must currently be, and remain at all times, insurable under the company automobile insurance policies.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
-
PMP certification or Project Management preferred
-
Ability to stay calm in high pressure situations and actively diffuse escalated situations

Self-starter, motivation for personal, team and company goals and objectives

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
