Underground Registration Coordinator
The Underground Registration Coordinator is responsible for reviewing, registering and ensuring that our fiber is reported to multiple state’s 811 systems in a timely manner. This position will maintain communication and provide support to Project Managers, Construction Managers, Field Engineers, Subcontractors and any other person, to ensure the accuracy of our database mapping. At times, this associate could assist with entering locate requests as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Accurately reviewing and registering our underground fiber locations to each state’s 811 system
- Update and edit corrections on any mapping discrepancies between Metronet mapping and the states’ 811 database mapping
- Assist the Underground Processing Specialists with entering locate requests into the various 811 systems.
- Work with the field on locate requests and registrations.
- Maintain a record of requests as well as compiling multiple reports and records and keeping them up to date
- Act as support to our field associates
- All other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Highschool Diploma or GED required
- Assoicates Degree or Equivalent is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Google Earth
- Demonstrated ability for accurate data entry and navigating technology
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Priority and deadline driven
