Some Key Areas of Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue.
- Promotes, advertises and markets the club’s social event facilities and capabilities to all members, potential members & clients.
- Assists members, potential members & clients arrange banquets, luncheons, meetings, weddings, dances and other business/social events; obtains pertinent information needed for planning.
- Internal reporting and file maintenance.
- Develop all banquet event orders with accurate and complete information and deliver to client in a timely manner.
- Responsible for hands-on service work when needed and orchestrating events when necessary.
- Attends staff and management meetings to review policies and procedures, future business and to continually develop quality and image of catering & events.
- Produces diagram room layout, banquet item placement and related function details.
- Meets with other department managers to plan food and beverage aspects of special events organized by the staff members.
- Manages catering & event billing and arranges prompt payment for all events.
- Updates weekly catering & event information for all affected staff.

Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Understanding and proven success in the negotiation process.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to deliver presentations and conduct sales calls in a confident well-organized manner.
- Applicants must be able to work weekends & holidays.
