Ability to travel between campuses for meetings or position responsibilities.

The Student Services Concierge will greet and assist students and visitors along with performing a variety of functions at the South Express Campus. Assisting with Adult Education class registration and onboarding of new students while directing general MCC questions/concerns and providing resource and community information.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
1. Greets and assists students and visitors.
2. Actively assess students’ needs navigating them to personalized direct points of service.
3. Answers telephones, transfer calls appropriately, and sets appointments.
4. Listen and respond to student issues to find solutions by problem-solving and/or referring to other college departments as needed.
5. Stays abreast of multiple sources of detailed information and schedules of activities in the building including tours, workshops, classes and orientation sessions and assist with organization of on-site activities.
6. Assists students with orienting to college resources and tools.
7. Assists students with registration.
8. Maintains forms and daily mail service for all departments on campus/center.
9. Ensures proper security when opening and closing the South Express.
10. Consistently and dependably attends work, activities, and functions as scheduled or assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
1. Knowledge of college-wide functions, particularly student affairs, financial aid, academic affairs, Knowledge academic records, enrollment services, etc.
2. Knowledge of CRM systems.
3. Proficient skill in MS Office and other College-supported software.
4. Knowledge and compliance with FERPA laws.
5. Possess high level of customer service skills, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
6. Effectively communicate with various internal and external stakeholders.
7. Strong planning and organizational skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and pay close attention to detail.
9. Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
10. Ability to professionally manage and maintain confidential information.
11. Ability to effectively work and interact with various cultures and ethnicities.
12. Ability to utilize mathematical and money-handling skills.
13. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and/or writing.
14. Ability to be flexible with work assignments.
15. Ability to occasionally extent exert up to 20 pounds of force to lift, push, carry, pull or otherwise move objects.
16. Ability to perform sedentary work, sitting and standing for extended periods of time.

Associate degree with two (2) years of direct customer service experience working in a fast-paced, public service environment.
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Physical Demands
