We are now hiring for a full-time Crisis System of Care Community Liaison to join our Team at Merrionette Park!
SALARY: Compensation is commensurate with years of related experience, position requirements, and candidate qualifications. The average salary for the position is $60,000.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the services and resources offered by MFS and specifically, within MFS’ Crisis Systems of Care.
- Cultivate and maintain community partnerships with the goal of generating referrals and teaming with other organizations to best serve clients.
- Create and distribute media providing education about MFS’ services including brochures and presentations
- Create and maintain a list of contacts for community partners, and actively maintain communication with those partners.
- Represent MFS and the Crisis Systems of Care during meetings and networking events happening at a State and local level.
- Develop and organize at least one annual networking/resource event hosted by MFS.
- Develop and foster professional relationships with crisis stakeholders
- Represent MFS at community resource events.
- Make presentations to the stakeholder community to promote services under the crisis system of care
- Coordinate partner engagement/retention plan across crisis stakeholders network
- Manage system that tracks partner relationships and impact on crisis services.
- Assists in managing relationship with local police and fire systems, emergency departments, psychiatric hospitals and community organizations.
- Utilizes a team approach and work with other program staff in the planning and implementation of services.
- Takes increasing responsibility for own professional development, utilizing supervision and other developmental opportunities within and outside the agency to enhance skills and understanding.
- Others duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Social Science, Communications, or a related field, required,
- Two years of administrative experience and relationship management or demonstrated experience in a related area, required.
- Must have access to a vehicle, valid driver's license and proof of insurance to perform essential job functions, required.
- Highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal
- Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch.
- The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing and viewing a computer terminal.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
